A French comics author
Born in Paris in 1976 where he was raised, Alexis Bacci grew up between the seventh district of Paris, Del Cerro in San Diego and Milan.
Drowned in movies, morning cartoon, video games, comics, rollerskating and martial arts before he could even walk.
Graduated from Gobelins in cinema and animation in 2001, he’s been, afterward, working in the cartoon industry for years.
Mainly as a storyboard artist, but also as a director and scriptwriter.
Ten years ago he started a professional career as a comic books artist with some of the biggest publishing companies in France (notably Casterman).
He won the prize of the best international manga at the Japan expo in Paris (2019) for his Last Man Stories.
He has also developed underground publications such as Akasake, a risoprinted art book sold in Paris, Lyon, Berlin, Milan, New-york, San francisco, Brazil, Australia and Tokyo.
Alexis entered the world of NFTs in 2021 with the Tengu Diaries project and some other glimpse of the universe he’s been developing aside since the mid 90’s.
